Invisible Warrior by Teresa Gabelman

Steve, the self-proclaimed Invisible Warrior, has not had a typical life. Trained by the VC Warriors, he still has to prove his worth, but with humor and sheer will, he refuses to give up.

In one afternoon, his life changes, as do the lives of three others. Steve Richardson has a serious choice to make between two women and someone who holds his heart like no other.

It seems like i have been waiting along time for Steve to get his own book,WOW it was definiitely worth the wait.Who could not like Steve the Invisible Warrior who has a fantasic sence of humour that kept me belly laughing though out this series with his one liners, this book was no different as he was just the sweetest and funnist guy ever.

We saw another side to Steve with how he showed alot more matrurity and his protective side towards Mira and his little family,i loved this side of him as he took no crap from anyone where his family was concerned. He also showed he had quite a temper when needed when he was pushed to far. There was still alot of banter between Steve and the other warriors as well which i loved.

I loved Mira’s character she was sweet but very protective when needed, she had a feisty side and was not afraid to speak her mind.Steve never knows when to shut up but Mira just gets him which i loved about her,she was definitely a good match for Steve she was the perfect mate and they was really good together.

This book started right off literally with a bang and carried on at a fast pace that got you sucked right back into the warriors world, woundering what was going to happen next, it was a rollcoaster of a ride and i devoured this book untill the very end in one go.I laughed, cried and my emotions were all over the place reading this story but i wouldn’t want anything less from author Teresa Gableman. Can’t wait for the next book now.

All The Rage by T.M.Frazier

They call me Rage.
My real name is like a shadow, always close behind, but never quite able to catch up to me.
I fly under the radar because no one ever suspects I’m capable of the kind of brutal violence I commit each and every day.
You see, I’m a girl. I’m nineteen.
And I’m a killer.
I look like a goddamn cheerleader, but can take out a man three times my size in more than as many ways, without hesitation.
This life is all I know. It’s all I want to know. It keeps the shit buried that I need kept buried. It allows me to live without thinking too much.
Without dwelling on the past.
Until him.
It all changes when an ordinary boy becomes my next target.
And my first love.
I have to choose.
The only life I’ve ever known has to die, or he does.
Either way, I’ll be the one pulling the trigger.

OMG to say i loved this book is a undersatment,i didn’t think any book could beat the King series, well i was wrong this book just blew me away with Rage and Nolans story. This had me hooked from the begining and didn’t let me go untill i had dovoured this in one go.This book has ruined me for all other books as i am addicted to this life that T M Frazier get us the readers into ,she sucks us in and doesn’t let us go untill we are totally ruined and an emotional wreak.

Rage and Nolan’s story is Phenomenal and i now can’t get this couple out of my head with how this book unfolded,it had me cringing near the end for both these two characters and what unfolded. We get to meet Smoke in this book as Rage is doing some ‘work’ for him but there are lines you shouldn’t cross but Tracey is not afriad to take us there and across them lines.Awesome.

Nolan is a hot sexy alpha male with a hidden dark side and lots of secrets that stay hidden until he can trust and even then it takes alot to get these out in the open.Rage is a girl incapable of having any feelings about anyone and has even more secrets that she keeps from Nolan till the very end.

Rage is a killer and is working for her very good friend Smoke, who has given her a job of babysitting Nolan (as he is in a wheelchair getting over a knee injury) to find out about his parents. There is alot of sexual tension between these two characters that develope the longer they spend time together.

I couldn’t put this book down it was a page turner at its very best with some hot sexy scenes and a few OMG NO scenes as well,Tracey is not afraid to take us along with her for a ride of our lives. If you love a Dark Romance with twists and turns that you don’t see coming, this is definitely the book for you.

In Another Life by Angela M Hudson

“My blood ran cold at the vulturous look in his eye. My father. My rock. A beloved teacher and protector of young girls. Defender against rapist jocks, and jacket-lender. How could he be a vampire?”

After a grave warning from a cloaked stranger, Ara leaves her old life to live with her father. She could never have imagined the unfortunate future that awaited her there.

Paired up with preppy cheerleader, Emily, the girls spend the summer getting to know a set of bewitching twins with mysterious abilities. But all the while, dark family secrets are lying in wait, looking for the worst moment to resurface. And when they do, the one person Ara loves most will be the one to hurt her the deepest.

A lover will be ripped away.
A friend will leave.
And her father will betray her in a way that can never be forgiven.

Go back to where it all began in the gripping vampire series, Dark Secrets, and find out what would have happened if Ara’s mother had never died; if the evil witch Safia had no influence over Drake’s decisions; if she’d met Jason first.

This is a companion book to the not-yet-released Dark Secrets Book 8.

Five huge stars for this ‘In Another Life’ , it was another fabulous book from Angela Hudson.

I must admit when i first new that this was going to be so different from the first DS books i was a bit apprehensive as being a huge David Knight fan i wasn’t sure if i was going to like this version of events, well i needed have worried because how this story unfolded got me hooked again into Ara,David and Jason’s world and i totally loved it,i fell in love all over again, but with Jase in the mix as well.

You get to see a different side to Mike in this story which i liked better than before, i loved how he was changed in this story than in the first DS books.Awww and Jase, i liked him alot more in this story as he and Ara got to be a couple, but nothing ever lasts for long as there were some twists to come that got in there way, but David was just the same as before a Dark,Sexy Vampire that i love.

Ara was very much the same character being strong and beleiving in the good in people, but she still takes no crap and i loved to see her character developing with all the changes that were happening to her in her stride. This story flowed along with a few twists that i never saw coming and the ending left me wanting , no NEEDING to know what happens next in this thrilling story.

I now can’t wait to see what Angela Hudson has installed for us next,as with her writing you never know how this is all going to unfold for Ara,David and Jase, she keeps you guessing at every turn which has kept me hooked throughout.I love this rollocoaster of a ride along with these characters that i never want to get off.

If you like a Dark Vampire story with lots of twist and turns this is definitely the book for you,you wont be dissappointed.

Scandalous by L.J.Shen

They call him The Mute for a reason.
Hard, cold and calculated, he rarely speaks.
When he does, it’s with disdain.
When he does, his words aren’t meant for me.
When he does, my stomach flips and my world tilts on its axis.
He is thirty-three.
I am eighteen.
He’s a single dad and my father’s business partner.
I’m just a kid to him and his enemy’s daughter.
He’s emotionally unavailable.
And I am…feeling. Feeling things I shouldn’t feel for him.
Trent Rexroth is going to break my heart. The writing isn’t just on the wall, it’s inked on my soul.
And yet, I can’t stay away.
A scandal is the last thing my family needs. But a scandal is what we’re going to give them.
And oh, what beautiful chaos it will be.

OH WOW! One of the best books i have read this year.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this last book of the Sinners of Saint about Trent the last of the four HotHoles,to say that i loved this book is a huge understatement,i devoured this book as it totally rended me speechless, there are just no words to describe L J Shen, her writing is raw, fearless and gritty and she is not affraid to grab you by the balls and never let you go untill the very last page.

This book i didn’t think could get any better after Vicious and Ruckus but ‘WOW’ Trent’s book blew me away,he might be the mute but he is a deadly, dirty mouthed, filthy minded, sexy as hell hothole that kept me hooked and panting for more lots more. What can i say about Trent he is sex on legs that oozes sex appeal that commands the room even without words, this is why he is called ‘the mute’.

Edie Van Der Zee is everything that Trent isn’t,young, carefree, an ocean junkie with no ties but her love for her mother and brother. They shouldn’t feel right together as Edie is 18 and Trent is a 33 year old single dad bringing up his daughter Luna, but the sexual tension between these two was electrifying and when together the sparks was thigh clenchingly hot !!

The attraction was intence between Edie and Trent even though Edie was out to break him,as her father Jordan Van Der Zee (Trent’s business partner ) was blackmailing her where she thought she had no choice but to help him bring Trent down to buy him out his company.

I loved how this was told from a duel POV, so you got to know how each of them was feeling throughtout this book, it was captivating and intricately woven and i must say that Leigh has saved her best till last with Trent and Edis’s story.I counldn’t put this book down for a minuet wanting, no NEEDING to find out how this book ended for these two characters,I loved that we got to interact with the other three HotHoles along the way. This was truly an amazing journey that i thankyou Leigh for sharing with your readers, you are one of my favorite writers.Fact.

After Flux by Marissa Farrar

Coming to terms with her new found ability of telekinesis, twenty-two year old Ari is settling into life as one of the Kin.

When a second attack on San Francisco reveals another of their kind, Ari and the rest of the Kin discover they have a foe greater than their creator—someone more than happy to murder innocent people to get what they want.

On a mission to discover who is behind the bombings, Ari and the others set off on a journey to get answers.

But someone is already one step ahead of them, and Ari finds herself in more danger than she could ever imagine.

Four and half huge stars for this second book in the Flux series, this is just getting better and better.

This urban fantasy got me hooked in the first book with Ari and Hunter, but now i am totally bowled over with how this story is unfolding with lots of acton and danger thrown into the mix.

Ari has gone back to living under ground in the cavern along with her father and all the other ‘Kin’ as they call themselfs, plus they have all gone back to training there telekinetics when out of the blue another explosion happens which Ari felt a connection to another kin out where it happened and passes out.

They go out to find this other kin on the streets before whoever plotted the explosion gets there hands on them. There they find Zane who was injured but not badly and take him back to the cavern to explain who and what they all are. Once they are all back they start to make plans to find out who is responible for the explosions that are killing inocent people.

Kit,Ari,Hunter,Zane and Dixie are now on a mission to find out who is behind it all from the one man they all hate, Kit’s father Middleton who is responsible for the way they are now. They find themselfs in danger with Ari in more danger than she could ever imagine to be in.

There is alot more action in this book which i loved, and with the plot thickening with twists that you don’t see coming that keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next is exciting.I now can’t wait to find out what happens next in this fabulous series, just one gripe and it is small, but i want to see more romance with Ari and Hunter and a few more sexy scenes.

Grand Slam by Tracie Delaney.

Who is she? What does she want?

And will Tally and Cash ever find lasting happiness?

Wow! what a fabulous last book,it has taken me a while to write this review as i needed this time to collect my thoughts and put down on paper how much this series made me feel.Joyous, emotional, fustration and sadness but to name a few emotions i felt along the way with Cash and Tally’s heartfelt journey.

Tracie definitely saved the best till last, and what she put these two characters through was nothing short of genius with heartache, love, and laughter throughout, this is a trilogy that you would read again and again trust me.

Tracie is very clever in how she develop’s both these characters and we get to see a vulnerable side to Cash which we haven’t seen in the prevous two books which i thoroughly loved as he wooed Tally back.To think i was apprensive when i first started this trilogy with Winning Ace as it is not my preferred genre to read, and not being a lover of Tennis i was a little bit scared, well i shouldn’t of worried as i was hooked right from the off with Tracie’s fabulous style of adault writing, and her attention to detail throughout.

I am going to miss Cash and Tally as they have got into my head and under my skin in a very good way, its going to be hard to let go,but a little light at the end of the tunnel as in Rupe’s spin off we still get to hear about this pair which is a bonus,i can’t wait to here Rupe’s story, and what mischief he gets up to.
Excellent, fantasic and totally awesome finale book Tracie you have surpassed yourself with this superb end to this amazing trilogy.

WOW Had me Hooked AGAIN.

What can i say, Stephanie Hudson you had me gripped in this final book with how the story progressed,i really didn’t want to start this even though, i couldn’t wait for this book to land on my kindle so that it could answer all my many questions, i knew that i would devour this too quick so that it would then be the end of a era and my Afterlife journey would be at an end.

This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions from laughing, crying and shouting thoughout where i didn’t know was was going to happen next as Kiera got herself in all kinds of situations where i never knew what the outcome would be.

There was some shocks along the way that i never saw coming that totally took me by suprise,Stephanie you have blown me away and i now have a huge book hangover. This was a fantasic ending to a amazing saga that i never wanted to end,but there is hope as we have the Afterlife Chronicles and spin off’s to look forward to in the future.

This book was so worth the wait even though i knew it was going to be the end,i loved Kiera and Dominic Draven’s journey throughout, and i am going to miss there story, as this book was captivating, sexy and humorous and much much more.Thankyou Stephanie for sharing your thoughts and putting them down in this fabulous saga for us to read, you have taken us on a amazing ride which i never want to get off.

Siren by Jaimie Roberts

I’m not a good person. In fact, I’m a real bitch. If the opportunity arises, I will take your husband, give him the best sex he’s ever had, and laugh behind your back once I’m done with him. I do not put on airs and graces. I just take what I want whenever I want it.

I am the abused who has become the abuser. I live for power because all power had been stripped from me for years. Now that I have it back, I feed off of it like it’s my primary sustenance, and I don’t care who I hurt in the process.

Every woman hates me, but do you know what? I don’t give a shit.

You won’t like me. I’m not here to be liked. You want to know my story? I won’t stop you from observing. Just know that once I’m done with you, no shower—no matter how scalding—will ever get me out from under your skin.

Warning: If you’re looking for pink, fluffy clouds, rainbows, and HEA’s, then this book is not for you. These pages contain flashback scenes of child abuse in all forms (physical, sexual, and emotional) as well as BDSM and other taboo themes.

Love does not live in this book. Only dark, twisted, and sick obsessions thrive here.

You. Have. Been. Warned!

Well what can i say about this book,it definitely was not a easy read as this was a very dark twisted messed up story that i couldn’t put down if that makes any sence. This is my first book from this author Jaimie Roberts and i do like a good dark story but i must admit this book had me cringing in parts but then i couldn’t stop reading.

I didn’t like Scarlet to start with as she was a arrogant hussy that was full of herself, but as i got to know her character and what she went through when she was only 14 years old for two years you get the way that she has turned out,she is out for revenge in a big way against her family.

This is definitely not your traditional love story and it will push your limits and evoke all your emotions along the way throughout this story. This is one of them books that you shouldn’t like but hell i loved it in a twisted way, as it is so additive and fabulously written as Scarlet takes no prisoners and wreaks havoc on all them that have wronged her.

It was a action packed book with some lovely characters one being Stuart that you just can’t help but fall in love with and evan Reid is very likable for the most part. The ending i did not see coming but WOW it was unpreditable and had me realing and wanting more, but no, and this is what the author i’m sure was looking for,Stunned is the only word i can think of.

I will definitely be reading more from this auther as she was not scared of taking you on this dark journey along with her.I would of given five huge stars, but i am giving four and half just because in parts this had me cringing.
